Anyways, the concert was on last Wednesday the 26th, and thank God it went great beyond expectation. The audience was great, the artists were excellent (hmmm), the atmosphere was excellent, and the comitee was cool too!! ^__^ After a very short exhausted preparation (4 weeks only), and a day of wornout preparing the nite, it was all well paid off.
One Way was on the first time, but I didn't really 'there' yet as I was still runnning around like chicken with no head. Franky was next, and tell you, I loved his openess when he was sharing. It was so inspiring yet it wasn't sounded exclusively Christian, he shared about music, his life, life, and God. It wasn't actually a Christian concert, but he reached out to those who weren't Christian until all, without boundaries were just enjoying his music.
Bridged with 3 local bands... I loveeeeeddddd Wise Man Say!!! Their music was jazzy-pop kind of style.. and yeeepp, the singer.. his voice was so so sooooooooooooooooo bagusssss. Huuuu. He sang two songs, the first one was Cinta 'kan Membawamu Kembali di Sini, n yg ke2, lagu lama yang dinyanyiin lagi sama Elo, 'Pergi tuk Kembali'. At the end singernya (lupa namanya), disuruh nyanyiin lagi reff lagunya without music. You can just hear clearly, his voice was just wow! Sampe masi bisa inget2 loh suaranya... ps. I'm in love with his voice only, not him!! Hehehe.
Trakhir keluar was Glenn. Save the best for last? Hehehe. His songs were of course include his life-time debut, Januari & Terpesona. Everyone just went mad!! Hahaha. Lucuw bgt liatin org2 yg menggila.. n temen2 cewe gw yg kayanya alim2 langsung berubah!!! LOL.
Lagu2 yg laen were quite new to my ears. My Everything, Akhir Cerita Cinta, Kisah Romantis.. etc. Iya loh, everyone would started scream in the intro of each song, and until he started singing I was still busy bugging people asking what song it was. Jedeeeenk. Basi bangett gw kalo lagu2 Indo nihhh!!!
From Glenn's one.. yang berkesan ituh si pemaen Saxophone. Bukan orangnya particularly lohhh. Cmn the Sax was kereenn n mayan nge-boost all Glenn's songs. Pemaen Saxnya, Marlon, kata orang sih buaaeee banget. I myself, didn't really had time to meet them and get to know them. But I did greet him at the nite after the concert sih.. yaah, my 2 minutes impression.. OKlah.. yg pasti sih dia tuh orangnya paling ngga neko2 aja kali ya, yet he played Sax gitu lohh. Keren.
Well, well.. overall, it was just great deeehhhh. Tar kapan cerita lagi dehh.. kudu kerja kerja kerjaa nih.
