I am so oldies. Maybe? Hmmm. I don't know, but I've just figured out, I like to be around mature age people. I went to the dinner with my Chinese class friends last nite - it was kind of a semester end celebration. When I realize the semester was kinda 'end', I realize that I love the class, and one of the reason is because the people! It was a very cozy environment to be at. The 'not feeling like going' mood is always there when it's time to go there after a while day at work. But then, in every class, I just enjoyed it that the whole day exhaustion is like gone.
And when I think why I enjoyed the class with most of the people in their mature age, this is why - I think. One thing for sure, the pressure is much less as they don't into competition like we the young ones in school or at Uni. They're really keen to help and support each other, rather than trying to be the best by ourselves because we don't want anyone to be as best as us or even better. "I am keen enough to help you, but don't you dare to have a look at my assignment because that's the best I do and I don't want you to get the idea from the best I can do". If you're young, you know what I am talking about. Hahaha. Ouh, in addition to that, ngga ada tuh such 'penghias' kelas yang maunya nyonteeek aje juga!
Second, I think it's the way they talk and chat. The conversation is like one of those easy listening music. You know, even tho it was many of us, but we didn't necessarily talk loud, laugh hard over heavy comedies.. like when I was with the people in my age or younger. Must tell you that the jokes were easy on ears and lips (to laugh), not too heavy (and crazy), not crispy too (aka jayus). Hehehe.
I mean, it is fun to be with the youngs (friends at around my age), but the fun seems to take much more energy rather than the fun I have with the mature age people.
Do you guys feel the same? Or is it just me that getting so old, or maybe I'm just beong too classical.
