I have compared and searched other providers, so far AAPT offers the best deal.With 512K speed (that's even faster than the normal 215k broadband speed), you get 12G = 12,ooo MB download every month (no excess fee, but the speed goes slower if you exceed), free D-LINK modem (no router), all for only $39. And wats best is you don't have to be in any contract.
The deal goes with home land line, with the same line rental fee with other providers. It's even better becoz if you go with other broadband provider and you are with telstra, you have to pay another $$$ for the "setup" fee -it's the fee that your provider has to pay by "borrowing" telstra line. I think it's about $200 - lupa.

And to know how big 12G is, me and my housemate have downloaded around 350 songs in the first 3wks + our everyday usage, and that's only around 3.8G only! And we still have around 9G to spend in 6 days!!!
