What's so good about Friday and Good Friday? Though it was raining and cold this morning.. when I woke up, I knew it in my heart.. like a couple planned for a romantic dinner, like meeting an old good friend, that's how much I wanna go to church and meet Him. I just wanted to sing, dance and pour out my heart like as if no one was there. The celebration of my Powerpoint, my Source.. my heart just wanted to be connected to His.. remembering the day when He was crucified.
"Have a blessed good Friday, darling. Remember how much Jesus loves you. Even you're the only person in this world, He'll still die for you becoz you're loved so much by Him =D" -Itoi's sms. What's so good about this particular Friday? Well, it's a public holiday, that's one of the good things about it =p. But really, why is the day when Jesus was crucified is a good day?
"Like a seed planted, it has to go to the bottom of the earth as if it's gone and died in order for it to grow." -This morning sermont.
For myself, it's a celebration of unconditional love of His to us. Whether we want to receive it or not. It's given. The joy for His people's salvation was what make Him able to endure all the pain, shame, suffering and death. And when He called out His Father's name, could you imagine the pain that the Father had to go through seeing His son was crucified to death and yet He had to allow it even though He could do something about it? Just for us and so that the world would see.
Love perseveres. Love hopes. Love conquers all. Love never fails.
Men have said that the cross of Christ was not a heroic thing, but I want to tell you that the cross of Jesus Christ has put more heroism in the souls of men than any other event in human history. –John G. Lake
Ps. I wanna thank my family too for their unconditional love to me =) Have a super great and safe trip. Love yaaa!!!!
