My Father's House

How everything and all things
We must bare to face to live
Soo often we get so lost
Overwhelmed
That's the word
By what.. you name it
You look around youself still you can't precise it
But you know you are just so drown
The last thing you really need
Is the last think you think of

Until again I come to my Father's house
I again (and again) realized
This is home
A dear brother once told me,

"No matter how far you have gone.. don't forget to come to your Father's, your
home"

Now I know
This is what I need
A resting place like no else
As David sang in his Psalm 84,
"One day in your courtyards is better than a thousand anywhere else"

You've never seen a house more solid
the roof never leaks
the walls never cracks
and the fountain never trembles
You've never seen a castle more splendid
the observatory will strech you
the chapel will humble you
the study will direct you
and the kitchen will nourish you

Nothing is material here
Yet nothing is more real than this
The peace and security
The love and joy
Everything were given not only enough
But exceedingly fully
Suddenly you feel those lackness become overflowing bareable from your heart inside out
So much love
So much forgiveness
So much peace
It is when your Father gently answers you for all unspoken things in you,
"I know, my dear".
No condemation, no demand.

Just
The
Love

And now coming home from Home
Life as I know it still goes on
I'm still not quite sure where I'm headed
My rent is overdue
They still don't like me
The puzzle of what is best to do
Type of job I am looking for
This, that, those
Whatever

But in my Father's house,
I finally feels like I'm touching base
From all the matters in life,
At last I see the big picture

I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains?
No, my strength comes from GOD, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.
He won't let you stumble, your Guardian God won't fall asleep.
Not on your life! Israel's Guardian will never doze or sleep.
GOD's your Guardian, right at your side to protect you.
Shielding you from sunstroke, sheltering you from moonstroke.
GOD guards you from every evil, he guards your very life.
He guards you when you leave and when you return, he guards you now, he guards you always.

Psalm 121

And I am so grateful that home is only a heartbeat away.

Chances are you have given little tought to housing your soul. We create elaborate houses for our bodies, but our souls are relegated to a hillside shanty where the night winds chill us and the rain soaks us. Is it any wonder the world is so full of cold hearts? Doesn't have to be this way. We don't have to live outside. It's not God's plan for your heart to roam as a Bedouin. God wants you to move in out of the cold and live.. with Him. Under His roof there is space available. At His table a plate is set. In His living room a wingback chair is reserved just for you. He would you to take up residence in His house. Why would He want you to share His some?

Simple.

He is your Father.
