"You have been been living sheltered..."
O well, maybe afterall I am.
Though it sounded so uncool but I am proud.
I am in the world but NOT of the world.
Are we out of our mind if we think the world becomes a better place these days? No. Well you can say it's more fun. But on top of that.. think about it. Drugs, abuse, free sex, rotten family.. So not like a place you want to live in! So.. are you going to flow with it? I refuse to be ruled by wrong doing, nor bounded by the principles of the world.
righteous life
We are not to engage in the sinful activities the world promotes, nor are we to retain the insipid, corrupt mind that the world creates. Rather, we are to conform ourselves, and our minds, to that of Jesus Christ (Romans 12:1-2). This is a daily activity; a daily commitment. We can enjoy the things of the world, but we are not to immerse ourselves in the world. Pleasure is no longer our calling in life, but rather the worship of God.
Maybe afterall I have been living sheltered.
It's so good to be sheltered from this world.
