Time

Some say, time is money. Other say, your greatest resource is your time. Mom always tells me not to waste time or being idle and dad, he always encourages me to always use my time to learn and do usefull things.

I do understand that I agree to Samuel Smiles, "Lost wealth may be replaced by industry, lost knowledge by study, lost health by temperance or medicine, but lost time is gone forever."

But, I've just come into a realization of why time is the most precious capitals in our life. I realize that without time you can't build a Rome. Without time, no matter how much money and skills you have it is impossible to build something significant and great in life: intellegent, business, family...

Time is the most precious resources a man can have because we can't just simply earn our degree in a second. Even for an investment; in stocks, lands, time needs to take place for it to grow and give us that return. To raise great children, you need time to flourish them since the early age because it doesn't take a day or even a month to build a good character. Realize that in everything we do from the simplest thing such as enjoying food, time must take place. It's up to us wether to spend it on eating good food, or bad food, or even not eating. Hmm, keeping yourself healthy does take time too!

Hope in 2008 we can all grow in wisdom that we may appreciate how precious time is!

Psalm 90: 12
So teach [us] to number our days, so that we might live wisely.

Ecclesiastes 9:10
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.

Alan Lakein
Time = life; therefore, waste your time and waste of your life, or master your time and master your life.

Denis Waitley
Time is the most precious element of human existence. The successful person knows how to put energy into time and how to draw success from time.

Peter F. Drucker
Until we can manage TIME, we can manage nothing else.

Unknown Author
Ordinary people think merely of spending time. Great people think of using it.

Thomas Jefferson
Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much can be done if we are always doing.

William Shakespeare
Better three hours too soon, than one minute too late.

Charles Buxton
You will never find time for anything, you must make it.

Benjamin Franklin
You may delay, but time will not.
